Manchester United’s manager Rúben Amorim didn’t hold back in Friday’s press conference ahead of the opener against Arsenal, and fans are already buzzing.

Here’s what he revealed:
Benjamin Sesko
The club’s marquee signing from RB Leipzig is deemed physically ready, but whether he starts remains up in the air:
Of  course … he’s ready. Physically he is ready. That is a big component in our league. … He’s ready to play, we will see if he starts.
Nosssair Mazraoui and Lisandro Martinez
Both defenders are ruled out:
Nous [Mazraoui] and Licha [Martinez] are out. They cannot play in this game.”
Andre Onana and Joshua Zirkzee
Recovered from their preseason injuries and are available:
Josh recovered, Andre recovered, they are options for this game.
Season Vision
Amorim is keeping it candid, focusing on building momentum game by game:
We cannot change everything in four weeks … we are better. … We want to return to Europe … focus game by game.”
What It All Means
Sesko’s Debut Tease: United fans got their first real hint that the 22-year-old could lead the line on day one. He’s match-fit, sharp in training, and mentally invested — but Amorim’s leaving the decision close to kickoff.
Defensive Headache: Mazraoui and Martinez’s absences leave a void at the back. Expect a reconfigured defense and possibly a cautious game plan against Arsenal’s physical attack.
Depth Returns: Onana and Zirkzee’s recovery is a timely boost, giving the manager options in goal and attack heading into a tough opener.
Realistic Ambitions: Amorim isn’t setting sky-high goals just yet  he’s focused on improving, game by game, with Europe firmly in his sights.
