It’s believed that Marcus Rashford finished his Barcelona medical this morning. A formal unveiling is scheduled for Wednesday after the 27-year-old arrived in the city on Sunday via plane from the northwest.
An initial loan agreement for the 2025–2026 season has been reached between Manchester United and Barcelona, with the option to purchase him the following summer. Rashford’s entire salary is anticipated to be paid by Barcelona during the proposed loan.
The England international has expressed his desire to play for Barcelona in public. After speaking with Rashford, head coach Hansi Flick is believed to have approved the move. After failing with either Luis Diaz or Nico Williams, Barcelona stepped up their interest in Rashford, making this move as their top priority.
When this proposed loan move expires, he will still have two years left on his United contract. Five players, including the academy graduate, have been granted additional time off to consider possible summer transfers.
